Fantastic chance to join a leading bank as a HR Advisor based in Milton Keynes. Reward and Employee Relations is an Area of Expertise within the HR function, providing functional leadership for HR Business Partners and line managers in the specialisms of reward, policy, employee relations and diversity. HR Advice & Consultancy, Advisors will provide professional HR Advice to line managers and employees. This role is the first line of telephone support and advice for employees on all aspects of employment or issues that require mediation. This covers a wide range of Employment Relations issues, including terms and conditions, absence, disciplinary, grievance, policy and performance.It also involves providing quality advice and coaching to Line Managers on the phone to enable them to manage people related queries and issues. To keep up to date on external developments and changes in employment legislation and understand the implications on the business, policies and procedures You must be able to: communicate messages clearly and consistently within HR frameworks influence managers and employees over the phone Coaching support complex coaching interventions give feedback in a balanced and structured way confidently coach others on new HR policies Employee Relations translate legal requirements into workable approaches apply in-depth knowledge of HR policy and employment law to discrete assignments Experienced in dealing with sickness and performance issues The ability to quickly assimilate information, think on your feet and give commercially aware advice Part or fully CIPD qualified 3-5 years of technical HR experience with a sound knowledge of employment legislation AQUINAS HR are specialists in HR Recruitment www.aquinas.co.uk*coursefinder.asp
